Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Greece, with residence in Rome, Abat Fayzullaev, has officially presented his letters of credence to the Greek counterpart, Konstantinos Tasoulas.
During a brief conversation following the ceremony, the Greek president noted that, amid escalating geopolitical tensions around the world, Uzbekistan’s balanced diplomacy plays an important role in strengthening regional stability and international trust, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.
Fayzullaev has served as Uzbekistan’s ambassador to Italy and permanent representative to international organizations in Rome (FAO, UNFCCC, UNODC) since November 2023.
Since December 2024, he has also held the post of ambassador to Cyprus, since February 2025 the post of ambassador to Malta, and since March this year the post of ambassador to San Marino.
