Uzbekistan Supplies $90 Million Worth of Electrical Products to Syria

The first shipment of household appliances manufactured by local companies has arrived in Aleppo, Syria, marking an important step toward expanding the presence of Made in Uzbekistan products in the Middle Eastern market.

Electrical products such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines produced in Uzbekistan were transported to Syria in two trucks, with a total value of $90,000, UzA reported.

The cargo arrived in 20 days using an alternative transit route that went through Turkmenistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye.

In June this year, Syria’s Kalash Trading signed a $5 million export contract with the local household appliances manufacturer Premier Electronics.

Providing products under this agreement helps strengthen trade and economic ties between the two countries.
