Uzbekistan to Welcome Finnish President for Talks on Trade and Culture

At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Finnish President Alexander Stubb will visit Uzbekistan from October 29 to November 1 for high-level talks aimed at strengthening political, economic, trade, investment, and cultural cooperation.

During his visit, President Stubb will hold high-level talks in Tashkent with President Mirziyoyev aimed at further strengthening Uzbek-Finnish cooperation, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

A key focus of the meetings will be boosting bilateral trade and promoting collaboration in strategic sectors such as agriculture, environmental protection, chemical and energy industries, digitalization, extractive industries, and other innovative fields.

The leaders are also expected to address labor migration, cultural exchange, and the integration of modern technologies into Uzbekistan’s education system. In addition, they will discuss pressing regional and international issues, including ways to enhance mutual support within multilateral platforms.
