Uzbekistan, Türkiye Explore New Horizons in Pharmaceutical Partnership

Director of Uzbekistan’s Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency Abdulla Azizov has met with Ufuk Ulutaş, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Türkiye to Uzbekistan, to discuss deepening cooperation between the two countries in the pharmaceutical sector.

The meeting included a tour of the Tashkent Pharma Park, a cutting-edge scientific and industrial pharmaceutical cluster, highlighting Uzbekistan’s progress in pharmaceutical innovation and production capabilities, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Both sides explored opportunities for collaboration focusing on attracting Turkish investments, enhancing scientific research and academic exchanges, advancing specialist training and professional development, halal certification of pharmaceutical products, and expanding the presence of Uzbek pharmaceuticals in Turkish and other international markets.

Azizov and Ulutaş agreed to initiate joint projects addressing these priorities and pledged to maintain close coordination through their respective government agencies to ensure effective implementation.
