Uzbekneftegaz Studies Advanced Energy Technologies in China

A delegation from Uzbekneftegaz is continuing a series of familiarization visits to China aimed at studying cutting-edge technologies in the oil and gas sector.

At one of the leading research and production centers in Xi’an, specialists from the Uzbek company explored advanced geophysical technologies designed to operate under extreme temperature and pressure conditions in wells, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Particular attention was paid to digital manufacturing methods used to produce complex sensors and components for geophysical equipment.

Using a pressure electric sensor as an example, experts demonstrated the potential of 3D printing with specialized metal powders, a solution that enables the full restoration of previously used parts and significantly optimizes production processes. The delegation also examined an automated defect assessment system based on scanning and analytical technologies, allowing potential equipment failures to be detected at an early stage.

During the visit, discussions were also held on the prospects of introducing modern software platforms and digital databases at Uzbekneftegaz for research and analytical work-opening up new opportunities to boost efficiency in geophysics and hydrocarbon production.
