Uzbekneftegaz company plans to adopt the experience of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) in introducing advanced technologies aimed at increasing natural gas production.
The issue was discussed during a working visit by a delegation of Uzbekneftegaz specialists to the Oil and Gas Technology Research Institute, one of the leading research centers within CNPC’s oil and gas sector. The visit was organized at the initiative of Uzbekneftegaz’s management as part of efforts to modernize production processes, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
The institute focuses on the development and practical application of cutting-edge technological solutions for oil and gas extraction and brings together professors, researchers, and highly qualified industry professionals.
During the visit, the Uzbek delegation reviewed several key technologies, including the reinjection of flare gas into production systems, the use of plunger lift systems to remove liquid accumulation at the bottom of wells, and the application of surfactants to enhance production efficiency.
CNPC is among the world’s largest energy corporations, specializing in high-tech projects for the extraction and processing of hydrocarbons both in China and internationally. The company’s market capitalization exceeds $200 billion, underscoring its global scale and technological capabilities.
