Kyrgyzstan, China Set to Launch Osh–Kashgar Route

A new international route connecting Osh, Kyrgyzstan, and Kashgar, China, is set to begin in April 2026, expanding travel options for passengers and businesses.

The announcement follows a working meeting with China’s COMAC, where officials discussed strengthening bilateral aviation cooperation. The Osh-Kashgar flights will be operated via COMAC C909 aircraft, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The route aims to improve transport links, boost trade, tourism, and economic ties, and enhance humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China. Airports of Kyrgyzstan company said that the project marks a key step in developing its international network and partnerships with leading Chinese aviation firms.
