Armenia and Bulgaria have officially signed a joint declaration establishing a strategic partnership, marking a new step in bilateral relations.
The announcement was made by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on social media, following the signing ceremony held in Yerevan, The Caspian Post reports via Armenian media.
The agreement was signed together with Bulgarian President Iliana Iotova, who is visiting Armenia to attend the 8th summit of the European Political Community.
The summit, scheduled for May 4 in Yerevan, brings together leaders from around 50 European countries. The European Political Community serves as a platform for political dialogue and cooperation on security, stability, and shared regional challenges across the continent.
