Armenia and India are discussing the possibility of establishing production and assembly of Pinaka Mk-II rocket systems in Armenia.
If the talks result in an agreement, the project could significantly strengthen defense-industrial ties between India and Armenia while giving Yerevan a more stable local supply of ammunition for its growing artillery capabilities, according to Sputnik Armenia.
Armenia has previously purchased several variants of India’s Pinaka rocket systems. However, it remains unclear which specific variant could serve as the basis for potential localized production.
