Armenia Set to Hold Parliamentary Election on Jun 7

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan has signed a decree appointing June 7, 2026, as the date for the country’s regular elections to the National Assembly.

The decree announcing the election date was published on the official website of the Armenian President, The Caspian Post reports.

Armenia is a parliamentary republic. The political party that wins the majority in parliament during the vote will have the right to elect the country's prime minister.
