Armenia and the United Arab Emirates are considering the creation of manufacturing and regional distribution centers in Armenia, as well as joint logistics hubs.
Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan made the announcement following a meeting with UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri in Dubai, according to Sputnik Armenia.
The two sides also discussed processing Armenian agricultural products and manufacturing goods under UAE company brands.
Talks covered potential cooperation in green hydrogen, renewable energy, tourism and investment.
Earlier, Papoyan signed a memorandum with a UAE-based B2B marketplace that would allow Armenian producers to supply up to 40 tons of fruits and vegetables per week, with the possibility of increasing volumes in the future.
