Armenian and Georgian Defense Ministers Meet for Talks in Yerevan

After a welcoming ceremony at the Ministry of Defense administrative complex, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani held a private discussion, followed by a meeting with expanded delegations, according to the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

The ministers praised the current level of Armenia-Georgia cooperation in the defense sector, shared details of ongoing reforms in their respective armed forces, and reached agreements, The Caspian Post reports citing Armenian media.

Regional security issues were also discussed.
