Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Thursday that Azerbaijan's recent decision to lift restrictions on the transit of goods signals that Armenia is gradually overcoming the blockade.
He said that fundamental changes would soon happen in the Armenian economy, The Caspian Post reports citing Armenpress.
“Fundamental changes will soon take place in the structure of our economy. For the past two days, there has been discussion about Azerbaijan’s announcement to lift restrictions on the transit of goods to Armenia. This is a very important decision that demonstrates that the Washington declaration and the agreements reached are not merely declarations, as some have tried to portray. In other words, these are declarations that have produced concrete results,” the PM said at the Cabinet meeting.
