Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has advised ex-President Levon Ter-Petrosyan to calm down and enjoy the peaceful life established in the country.
The remarks came in response to a post by Ter-Petrosyan, who accused Pashinyan of destabilizing Armenia’s domestic political situation, The Caspian Post reports via Armenian media.
Ter-Petrosyan claimed that the prime minister’s policies are divisive rather than unifying, undermining social cohesion.
Pashinyan countered by accusing the ex-president of avoiding political responsibility during critical moments in Armenia’s history.
“In 1996, you fled from the election results; in 1998, from power; in 2008, from the opposition. I understand that now you also want to step aside, but there is nowhere left to run,” Pashinyan wrote, emphasizing his point.
