Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is recovering after being wounded on the first day of the US-Israeli attack.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, revealed his condition in an interview with RTVI, The Caspian Post reports.
“According to our information, he was also wounded in that attack because he was with his father, with his family-this is, unfortunately, true. From what I’ve heard, his condition is improving,” the diplomat said.
He further emphasized that Islamabad has “deep respect” for Mojtaba Khamenei, noting that his father enjoyed enormous prestige throughout the world.
