Armenian PM to Visit Vatican to Strengthen Diplomatic and Religious Ties

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will undertake an official visit to the Vatican from October 18 to 20.

On October 19, Pashinyan is scheduled to attend the canonization ceremony of Archbishop Ignatius Maloyan and six other blesseds, presided over by Pope Leo XIV at St. Peter’s Square, The Caspian Post informs, citing Armenian media.

The visit will also include meetings with the Pope and discussions with Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin, aimed at strengthening diplomatic and religious ties between Armenia and the Vatican.
