Georgian Interior Minister Arrives in Armenia for High-Level Security Talks

Georgia's Interior Minister Sulkhan Tamazashvili has arrived in Yerevan on an official visit at the invitation of Armenian Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan, aiming to strengthen bilateral cooperation in law enforcement and security.

Tamazashvili is leading an official delegation during the visit, which includes a series of high-level meetings with Armenian officials, The Caspian Post reports via Georgia's Interior Ministry.

The two interior ministers are expected to hold bilateral talks focused on expanding cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Georgia and Armenia and addressing shared security priorities.

As part of the visit, the Georgian delegation will also tour Armenian police units to learn more about their operations and exchange professional experience.

Tamazashvili's schedule also includes meetings with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Andranik Simonyan, Director of Armenia's National Security Service, highlighting the strategic importance both countries place on regional security cooperation.
