Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has described his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, as “very good” and announced plans to visit Moscow in the near future.

In a post on his Telegram channel, Pashinyan said the two sides agreed to continue an open and constructive dialogue during his upcoming visit to Russia.

The Armenian prime minister also stressed the need for Moscow and Yerevan to recognize the importance of their bilateral relationship while acknowledging that the ties between the two countries are entering a new phase.

“However, we must also acknowledge that in the new environment and under the new conditions, these relations need transformation. As a result of this transformation, I am confident that relations will become better - more constructive, more beneficial and warmer,” Pashinyan said.
