Rodin Motorsport driver Alex Dunne has won the first feature race of the Formula 2 Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku.

Dunne crossed the finish line first to secure victory in the race, The Caspian Post reports.

The event was briefly suspended after a major multi-car crash on the track. The incident prompted officials to bring out the red flag and temporarily halt the race.

Dunne had already shown strong pace ahead of the race, setting the fastest time in the first qualifying session on September 24.
