As part of the ongoing events in the Middle East, another evacuation flight is being carried out from Muscat, the capital of Oman, to Baku to bring back Azerbaijani citizens, including those from the United Arab Emirates, still in the region.
The landing of the airline’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft operating on the Muscat-Baku route at Heydar Aliyev International Airport is expected in the coming hours, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.
Nearly 200 Azerbaijani citizens are expected to safely return to the country on this flight.
Currently, AZAL, as the national air carrier, is ensuring the safe and scheduled operation of flights in accordance with procedures established by the relevant state institutions.
