Azerbaijan and Türkiye Explore Ways to Strengthen Cooperation

Khalaf Khalafov, Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments, held meetings in Ankara with several Turkish officials, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Chief Adviser to the President Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Berris Ekinci.

The discussions reviewed the history and future prospects of the brotherly Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations and addressed ongoing efforts to enhance mutual cooperation across all areas, both regionally and globally, The Caspian Post reports.

The sides also exchanged views on issues related to Azerbaijan’s Chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), including the transformation of CICA into a full-fledged international organization.

The meetings further focused on other regional and international matters of shared interest.
