Azerbaijan attaches great importance to its membership of the D-8 Organization, said Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration.

"I would like to express gratitude to all D-8 members for supporting this initiative," Hajiyev said during the presentation of the D-8 Media Excellence Center's strategy held on the sidelines of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, The Caspian Post reports, citing AZERTAC.

"Today, the Media Excellence Center has already become fully functional, and we do hope that the D-8 countries will actively use the Media Excellence Center, which belongs to our D-8 media family," the presidential aide added.
