Azerbaijan and China have explored prospects for establishing a joint industrial park and expanding cooperation in several sectors.

Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov held a meeting with Gao Bo, Chairman of China State Construction Engineering Corporation International (CSCEC International), to discuss cooperation opportunities in infrastructure, urban development, energy, industry, and other areas, The Caspian Post reports.

"The exchange also covered the establishment of the Azerbaijan-China Industrial Park and potential cooperation with the company in this regard," Minister Jabbarov said in a post on X.

"We also explored opportunities to attract joint investment and leverage CSCEC International's expertise in implementing major infrastructure and industrial projects," the minister added.
