Azerbaijan has sent another shipment of electrical equipment to Ukraine as part of its humanitarian assistance, with the cargo departing from the Sumgait Technologies Park.
The shipment was prepared in response to a request from the Ukrainian side and includes cables, wires, transformers and other electrical equipment valued at 2.5 million Azerbaijani manats (about $1.47 million), according to APA.
Azerbaijan has previously provided Ukraine with humanitarian assistance aimed at supporting the country’s electricity infrastructure.
The latest shipment was organized by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy in accordance with an order signed by President Ilham Aliyev on September 21, 2026.
The equipment is intended to support Ukraine’s electricity supply infrastructure as the country continues to face challenges to its energy system.
