Azerbaijan evacuates two diplomats from Iran
Two Azerbaijani diplomats have been evacuated from Iran through the Astara border crossing, as security concerns in the region continue to escalate.
The evacuation operation also included three Russian diplomats who crossed into Azerbaijan together with the Azerbaijani representatives, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.
In addition, three diplomats from the Czech Republic were transported from Iran to Azerbaijan as part of the same process.
Earlier, it was reported that between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on March 6, a total of 210 citizens from 26 countries were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan.
