Azerbaijan and France have maintained diplomatic relations since 1992. The two countries cooperate in a wide range of areas, including politics, trade, culture, education, and energy. France is one of Azerbaijan’s key partners in Europe, particularly in the energy sector, where French companies have been involved in oil and gas projects in the Caspian region.
