Azerbaijan Jumps Two Spots in UEFA Country Rankings

Azerbaijan has risen two positions in the UEFA country rankings.

The jump comes after Qarabağ FC secured a place in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, The Caspian Post informs via local media.

The team overcame Hungarian Ferencvárosi in the playoff round with aggregate scores of 3:1 and 2:3, raising Azerbaijan’s coefficient to 21.000 and moving the country up to 26th place in the rankings.

Slovakia currently holds 25th place with a coefficient of 21.375, while Slovenia is 27th at 20.718. England remains at the top of the rankings with a coefficient of 95.005.
