A total of 15 families, comprising 46 individuals, have been resettled in the village of Khanyurdu in Azerbaijan’s Khojaly district, where they received the keys to their newly constructed homes.
The key handover ceremony was attended by officials from the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan in Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts, along with representatives of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), The Caspian Post reports via local media.
The resettlement marks a new phase in Azerbaijan’s program to return displaced citizens to their native lands, carried out under the directives of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
