Azerbaijan Participates in International Congress on Spiritual Heritage in Uzbekistan

An international congress titled “Spiritual Heritage and Enlightenment in Central Asia” is currently underway in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

An Azerbaijani delegation led by Minister of Culture Adil Karimli is participating in the event, The Caspian Post reports.

At the beginning, the participants viewed a museum exhibition at the Center for Islamic Civilization.

The program then continued with a screening of a documentary film.

Subsequently, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed the participants of the international congress.

The congress proceeded with a plenary session.

The international event will conclude on November 15.
