A high-level meeting between Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has begun in Moscow, with the two sides expected to discuss key bilateral and regional issues.

The foreign ministers first held one-on-one talks, before expanding the meeting to include official delegations from both countries, The Caspian Post reports.

According to officials, the agenda includes the current state of Azerbaijan-Russia relations, prospects for further cooperation, and the regional security situation.

The meeting comes amid continued diplomatic engagement between Baku and Moscow on a range of political, economic, and regional matters.

Following the negotiations, Bayramov and Lavrov are expected to hold a joint press conference, where they will outline the outcomes of the talks and address questions from the media.
