Azerbaijani Ambassador to Venezuela, Ruslan Rzayev, has officially presented his credentials to Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, according to the Azerbaijani embassy.
During the official meeting, Ambassador Rzayev conveyed greetings from President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan to President Maduro. Expressing gratitude for the warm message, Maduro asked the ambassador to extend his own greetings to the Azerbaijani leader in return, The Caspian Post reports.
President Maduro fondly recalled his visits to Baku and once again thanked President Aliyev for the warm hospitality he received.
The meeting also included discussions on strengthening bilateral ties, continuing successful cooperation within international organizations-especially during both countries' chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement-and exploring prospects for collaboration in areas such as the economy, trade, energy, tourism, and more.
