The price of Azeri Light crude oil dropped by $0.90, or 1.3 per cent, closing at $68.12 per barrel on September 12.
Azeri Light, the benchmark crude for Azerbaijan, has seen significant price fluctuations over the years, The Caspian Post informs via local media.
Its lowest recorded price was $15.81 per barrel on April 21, 2020, amid global market disruptions, while the highest price on record reached $149.66 per barrel in July 2008.
Market analysts continue monitoring the trends closely, citing global supply-demand dynamics and geopolitical factors as key drivers affecting oil prices.
