Azerbaijan’s Central Bank, ADB Focus on Future Partnership Opportunities

Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov met with a delegation led by Executive Director on the Board of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Rachel Thompson.

During the meeting, the sides had a broad exchange of views on the challenges facing the global economy, the country’s economic situation and development trends, monetary policy, and the improvement of the regulatory and supervisory framework for insurance sector, as well as the sector’s potential, The Caspian Post reports, citing CBA.

Discussions also focused on future partnership opportunities between the CBA and ADB, particularly ADB’s potential involvement in Azerbaijan’s financial sector.
