Azerbaijan exported goods worth $11.75 billion to European Union (EU) member states in January-August 2026, according to data from the State Customs Committee.

The figure represents a 1.5% decrease, or $175.18 million, compared with the same period of 2025, The Caspian Post reports, citing AZERTAC.

During the first eight months of the year, Azerbaijan’s imports from EU countries amounted to $1.81 billion, down 3.2%, or $430.04 million, year-on-year.

Trade with EU countries accounted for 53.86% of Azerbaijan’s total exports and 15.92% of its total imports during the reporting period.

Overall, Azerbaijan’s exports reached $21.81 billion in January-August 2026, while imports totaled $11.42 billion.
