Azerbaijan will host the “Power of Unity - 2026” joint military exercise with the participation of military personnel from Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Uzbekistan.
The three-stage exercise will take place at the Azerbaijan Army’s Gizilgaya Training Center in the Garabagh economic region, the Garabaghlar Training Center in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and the Boyuk Zira training area in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, The Caspian Post reports, citing the country's Defense Ministry.
The exercise will involve military personnel, combat equipment, naval and aviation assets, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Its main objectives are to enhance readiness for joint operations, strengthen troop coordination, standardize training procedures and further develop the combat capabilities of participating units.
Military personnel and aviation assets of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Türkiye have already arrived in Azerbaijan to take part in the exercise.
In line with the relevant plan, the necessary measures have been taken to accommodate the military personnel and address other organizational matters.
