Azerbaijan, UAE Seek to Enhancing Food Safety Cooperation

Mammadrahim Najafov, Head of the Office of the Azerbaijan’s Food Safety Agency, met with Mohammed Al Blooshi, UAE Ambassador to Baku.

The officials hailed the development of cooperation between the two countries across political, economic, and other domains, The Caspian Post reports, citing the agency.

The meeting reviewed the mutual exports of food products between the two countries in 2025, as well as the "Memorandum of Understanding between the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan and the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment on cooperation in animal health and food safety."

The meeting discussed the approval of veterinary certificates for mutual exports of animal products.
