The Azerbaijani Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has stated that as part of an initiative by the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency, 30 Ukrainian children arrived in Azerbaijan to take part in a specialized rehabilitation program.
The children will engage in a 10-day program at the Gabala Children’s Rehabilitation Center, The Caspian Post informs via the ministry.
The program combines medical care with social and psychological rehabilitation services to support the children’s overall well-being.
Activities include individual consultations with psychologists, group sessions, as well as yoga and dance therapy, providing both emotional support and skill-building opportunities.
Cultural excursions are also planned, allowing the children to explore Azerbaijan’s rich heritage with visits to Gabala, Sheki, and other historical sites.
The program’s overarching goal is to help stabilize the children’s emotional state while promoting their integration into society, offering a holistic approach to recovery and development.
