The Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan and the Turkish Court of Accounts have officially established their cooperation through a protocol signed in Gaziantep, Turkey.
During the signing, an Action Plan was also approved, outlining collaboration on auditing the higher education system, The Caspian Post reports citing AZERTAC.
Noting that the Action Plan for cooperation between the two brotherly countries is designed for a period of three years, Metin Yener, President of the Turkish Court of Accounts, emphasized: “We have agreed on a cooperation framework between Turkiye and Azerbaijan, which includes specific steps for the next month and two years.” Metin Yener expressed Ankara`s readiness to share its experience in control and auditing with Baku.
The document also envisages holding various seminars and training programs.
Vugar Gulmammadov, Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan, in turn, expressed optimism over future collaboration between the two fraternal countries.
Gaziantep Governor Kemal Çeber, Mayor of the City Municipality Fatma Şahin and others were also present at the signing ceremony.
