Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov has expressed support for Kyrgyzstan’s intention to join efforts in exporting green energy to Europe, highlighting growing regional cooperation in renewable power.
Speaking at a meeting of prime ministers and vice presidents of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States in Baku, Asadov noted that Azerbaijan is a global leader in pipeline gas exports, now reaching 16 importing countries, while actively advancing its green energy agenda, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
“Azerbaijan’s energy strategy goes beyond hydrocarbons. We are promoting renewable energy development and prioritizing regional collaboration, leveraging the potential of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan,” he said.
The prime minister emphasized that Baku welcomes Kyrgyzstan’s participation in green energy exports to Europe, reinforcing a shared commitment to sustainable energy growth across the region.
