On July 28, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a telephone conversation with his Uzbek counterpart, Bakhtiyor Saidov.
The ministers discussed issues stemming from the strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, as well as the implementation of bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements reached during the Uzbek President’s state visit to Azerbaijan on July 2, The Caspian Post reports via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The sides also exchanged views on regional developments.
The officials reviewed preparations for upcoming international events involving both countries and addressed other matters of mutual interest.
