Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Yalchin Rafiyev, has taken part in the forum “Building a Resilient Future in a Changing Climate” in Prague, Czech Republic, held under Finland’s OSCE Chairmanship.
Rafiyev was a keynote speaker in the session focused on climate issues, The Caspian Post reports via the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
He outlined the key outcomes of the COP29 climate conference held in Azerbaijan, highlighting the decisions adopted and their impact on global climate efforts. Rafiyev also discussed the potential role of the OSCE, as a regional security organization, in contributing to climate change mitigation and adaptation initiatives.
