An Azerbaijani national has reportedly been killed in a drone strike in Crimea amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Thus, 45-year-old Mahir Mammadov was killed when a cargo truck he was driving came under a drone attack, according to 24news.ge.

The vehicle caught fire following the strike, and Mammadov died at the scene.

Mammadov was originally from the village of Arikhli in Georgia’s Bolnisi municipality.

The necessary arrangements are currently being made to transport his body to his homeland.
