A dedicated entertainment zone has opened on Baku Boulevard as part of the Azerbaijan Formula 1 Grand Prix, offering fans a range of activities, concerts and opportunities to meet F1 drivers.

The fan zone will feature live performances, driver appearances and interactive attractions for visitors, according to Baku City Circuit.

F1 enthusiasts can test their skills on a racing simulator and take part in the F1 Pit Stop challenge. Teams of two or three participants will compete to change a car’s wheels as quickly as possible, with the fastest teams advancing to the final round. Winners will receive signed souvenirs and paddock tours.

Fans can also see a Formula 1 show car and the FIA Formula 1 World Championship trophy. The F1 Driver Selfie attraction will allow visitors to take virtual photos with F1 drivers and team principals, while the F1 DJ Podium will recreate the atmosphere of a Grand Prix podium ceremony.

Younger visitors will have their own Children’s Grand Prix, where they can drive mini electric cars on a specially designed track meeting safety requirements. The children’s area will also offer themed face painting, creative workshops and trampolines, including an inflatable helmet-shaped castle.

One of the key attractions for Formula 1 fans will be the opportunity to meet drivers in person during the Grand Prix weekend.
