China Travel Online: Azerbaijan Must Tailor Tourism for Chinese Visitors

Executive Director of China Travel Online Marcus Lee has said that Azerbaijan should adapt its tourism services and products to better meet the needs of Chinese visitors.

Lee stressed that the country’s tourism sector must further develop in several directions to capture the growing Chinese market, The Caspian Post informs via local media.

“The China Ready Program helps host countries and partners prepare for Chinese travelers in terms of language, guided tours, and service quality,” he noted.

Beyond tourism, Lee pointed to expanding Chinese business interest in Azerbaijan, particularly in the field of renewable energy.

“Major corporations like Huawei are already operating in Azerbaijan. I believe there is strong potential to attract small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from China as well,” he added.
