Mine Explosion in Azerbaijan's Jabrayil Injures Civilian

A mine incident took place today in Mehdili village of Azerbaijan's liberated Jabrayil district, injuring a civilian, according to a statement from the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).

Rashad Mammadov, born in 1985, an employee of a private company engaged in humanitarian mine clearance operations, was carrying out his official duties when an anti-personnel mine detonated, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.

The explosion resulted in minor injuries to his leg.

The injured individual was promptly evacuated to the regional central hospital, where his condition was assessed as stable and not life-threatening.
