Minibus Plunges into Gorge in Azerbaijan's Lankaran

A road accident involving a Mercedes Vito minibus has occurred in Azerbaijan’s Lerik district.

The vehicle, traveling toward Lerik, lost control and fell into a gorge, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

Six people, including the driver and passengers, sustained injuries of varying severity and were taken to Lankaran District Central Hospital. Preliminary reports indicate all victims are residents of Lerik returning from Baku.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
