Minor Earthquake Hits Northwestern Azerbaijan

A 3.3 magnitude earthquake struck Azerbaijan’s northwestern district of Gakh on June 27.

The earthquake was recorded by the Republican Seismic Survey Center of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, The Caspian Post reports.

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 19 kilometers.

The tremor was not felt.
