NATO Mobile Training Team Conducts Course in Azerbaijan

The Mobile Training Team of NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum (Netherlands) has launched a course on “Studying experience” in Azerbaijan.

The course is conducted in line with the 2025 Individual Partnership Cooperation Programme between Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry and NATO, The Caspian Post reports, citing the ministry.

Speaking at the opening of the course, the Chief of the Main Operational Department of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Azer Aliyev welcomed the guests and participants and highlighted the importance of such events held to expand Azerbaijan-NATO military cooperation, as well as emphasized that in recent years Azerbaijani servicemen successfully applied the gained experience in their service activities.

Then the instructors provided the participants with general information about NATO. Briefings were also presented on NATO’s organizational structure and on experience gained across different areas during exercises and operations.

It should be noted that during the international event held at the War Games Center of the National Defense University, theoretical and practical classes on operational planning and management within NATO, as well as on other related topics will be conducted.
