Niagara Falls Illuminated in the Colors of the Azerbaijani Flag

In celebration of November 9, Azerbaijan's National Flag Day, Niagara Falls, one of the world's largest waterfalls located between the United States and Canada, was illuminated in the colors of Azerbaijan's national flag.

This visual tribute - illumination of the Niagara Falls in blue, red and green colors of the Azerbaijani flag - was a joint initiative by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Canada, the Azerbaijani House in Canada, and the Azerbaijani Culture and Arts Center operating in the country, The Caspian Post reports citing local media.

These kinds of initiatives clearly demonstrate the activity of Azerbaijani diaspora, the strengthening of the country’s solidarity, and the enduring love for the national identity.
