Some 43 Azerbaijani students have been selected to pursue their studies at some of China’s most prestigious universities during the 2025/2026 academic year under the framework of the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Education between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.
The selection process has been finalized, and the chosen candidates will study across a range of academic levels and disciplines, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.
The students will enroll at leading Chinese institutions such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, Wuhan University, Shanghai University, China University of Geosciences, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Sichuan University, Hubei University, the University of International Business and Economics, and several other renowned higher education institutions.
The distribution of students includes one undergraduate, 37 master’s, and five doctoral candidates. Their programs span a wide range of fields, including International Relations and Management, Environmental Engineering, Law, Computer Science, International Trade, Finance, Transportation Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Educational Theory, and Ecology.
